The Children’s ER entrance utilizes the same doors as the Dominican Tower entrance, facing Eastern Avenue and is open 24/7.
Emergency triage makes sure the sickest patients get care first. Triage identifies patients who need immediate care and those who can wait. If your child’s condition changes, please notify the triage nurse immediately.
We may need to perform tests/procedures to rule out various illnesses. Some of these tests may require patients to have an empty stomach. If your child would like to eat or drink while waiting, please check with an ER staff before doing so.
Siena Children’s Emergency Room has a private separate restroom. If your child needs to use the restroom while in the waiting area, please notify a staff member. The staff may need to collect a sample.
