The CommonSpirit Health Research Institute Summit (CSHRI) brought together 287 attendees from across the health care and research sectors to explore the latest innovations in clinical research, collaborative partnerships, and the use of artificial intelligence in health care. The summit featured a diverse agenda with specialized tracks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and advancing research practices.
The 2025 CSHRI Summit successfully created a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, laying the groundwork for future research advancements and partnerships. CommonSpirit Health team members involved in research and select partners were invited to attend the summit. Partners included clinical researchers, health care providers, research coordinators, industry partners, academic collaborators, AI and data science experts, research students and regulatory leaders, who were all engaged in advancing clinical research and innovation.
The summit provided an inspiring and dynamic exploration of the latest advancements in research, drawing a diverse audience eager to engage with thought leaders and cutting-edge topics. Sessions on AI and machine learning, clinical trial participant perspectives, and breakthroughs in cardiovascular and cancer research were among the most impactful, sparking meaningful discussions and a renewed sense of purpose among attendees. They noted appreciation for the speakers from different backgrounds, including physicians and those in AI, as well as the networking opportunities.
The summit also featured an impressive lineup of expert speakers, each offering valuable insights into their respective fields. Thomas McGinn, MD, MPH, SEVP, Chief Physician Executive Officer provided a compelling perspective on the role of executive leadership in advancing scientific initiatives at CommonSpirit.
